EWPA Knuckle Boom Training
Our Knuckle Boom Training in Western Sydney teaches students how to safely operate knuckle boom lifts and other elevating work platforms under 11 metres. You also receive a nationally recognised EWPA Yellow Card, which proves your skills and readiness to work safely.
This course suits construction, warehouse, and maintenance workers. Our trainers guide you through safety checks before use and hazard awareness. Then you practise safe lifting, travelling, and moving techniques on real equipment. Small class sizes ensure everyone gets hands-on experience and personal attention.

Do I need a licence to operate a knuckle boom lift? High Risk Work (HRW) licensing is not required for lifts under 11 metres. However, completing this training gives you a nationally recognised EWPA Yellow Card and proves your skills.
How long is the course? The course runs for one day. First, you complete theory training. Next, you practise operating the equipment under supervision. Finally, your instructor checks your performance to ensure competence.
What is the EWPA Yellow Card? The Yellow Card is a photo ID that shows you have the skills to operate knuckle boom lifts safely. It is recognised across Australia.
