The EWP Training over 11 metres training course specifies the skills and knowledge required to safely operate a boom-type elevating work platform where the length of the boom is 11 metres or more. This is a nationally recoginised training course.

Upon successful completion of the EWP over 11 metre training course applicants will be able to apply for their High Risk Work Licence (WP), Licence To Operate A Boom-Type Elevating Work Platform (boom length 11 metres or more).

We also offer a combination of training course which includes the over 11 metre training course, and the EWPA Trained Operator Course with SL scissor lift and KB knuckle boom lift for $890.00.

Course Introduction:
This WorkCover accredited course is required for operators of boom-type elevating work platforms (EWP) with a boom length of 11m or more. On successful completion, participants will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment and be eligible to apply for a SafeWork NSW High Risk Work Licence (WP).

VOC Assessments

Course Cost: $200–$300 depending on class
Duration: 2–4 hours

Course Introduction:
Our VOC Assessments verify the competency of workers who already hold an EWP or related licence. These assessments confirm that operators maintain the required knowledge and skills to safely operate EWPs.

VOC Outcome

Cancellations

Fees

Jack Australia charges fees for providing training services to students who undertake training and assessment that leads to a nationally recognised outcome’s. These charges are generally for items such as course materials, text books, student services and training and assessment services.

Fees are payable when a student or employer has received a confirmation of enrolment. The full course payment must be made seven (7) days prior to commencing training. The current fees and charges for training are as per advertised.

Cancellation Of Enrolment

Cancellation of enrolment must be given either by phone or via email. The student may be advised of other options such as suspending the enrolment and re-commencing in another scheduled training program.

Students who give written notice to cancel their enrolment and who are eligible for a refund will receive their refund within 14 days.

Refunds

The following refund policy will apply:

  • Notice given to cancel course enrolment more than 7 days prior to the commencement of a training program, will be entitled to a full refund of fees paid.
  • Any notice given to cancel an enrolment less than 7 days prior to the commencement of a training course will be entitled to a 50% refund of fees paid of full course fee payment. The 50% retained by Jack Australia is required to cover the cost of staff, resources, and lost revenue from potential students wanting to enrol/ attend the course.
  • Students who cancel their enrolment after a training program has commenced will not be entitled to a refund of any fees.

Charges

Jack Australia may levy some miscellaneous charges for services.

These may include:

  • Re-issuing a certificate after it has been initially issued to a student.
  • Replacing issued learning materials which the student has lost or damaged
  • Re-assessment services

Student complaints about fees or refunds

Students who are unhappy with Jack Australia’s arrangements for the collection and refunding of tuition fees are entitled to lodge a complaint.

Jack Australia delivers EWP training from our fully equipped training facility in Riverstone, Sydney. Conveniently located near Blacktown, we also service surrounding suburbs including Rouse Hill, Windsor, Seven Hills, Parramatta, Penrith, and Greater Western Sydney.
