The EWPA trained operator course for scissor lifts, the training course is designed to train applicants in the safe use of scissor lifts. This training course provides participants with the knowledge and skills required to operate a scissor lift, elevating work platform, which is not classified as requiring a high risk work (HRW) licence.
The EWPA Yellow card is a nationally recognised operator training program. Jack Australia maintains the training program in accordance with the Elevated Work Platform Association Of Australia (EWPAA).
This course can be combined with both the EWPA knuckle boom at $350.00 combined price or the vertical lift and or knuckle boom training course for $400.00 combined price. Plus we also offer the EWP over 11 metre training course plus the EWPA scissor lift and knuckle boom lift training course package for $890.00.

Course Introduction:
Our Scissor Lift Training course provides participants with the skills and knowledge to safely operate scissor lifts in a variety of workplaces. On completion, operators receive an EWPA Yellow Card with photo ID, proving national competency in scissor lift operation.
Prerequisites:
The Training program has no pre-requisite units. However, EWPs require operators to have a thorough understanding of the risks associated with using them. This includes being able to read and understand technical information such as instructions for emergency lowering systems, wind speed ratings, variable rated capacity restrictions, operator’s manuals, risk assessments and logbook checklists.
Participants should be 18 years of age. Operating restrictions apply for those under 18 years of age.
